My Chiro is short for My Chiropractor! We are a chiropractic and acupuncture practice staffed by Dr. “Mary” and Dr. “Bob” McAleese! We have been proudly serving Stafford, VA for over 29 years and we have served thousands of patients with chiropractic and acupuncture care. Chiropractors and physician acupuncturists see a wide range of patients with the some of the following medical conditions: allergies, sinusitis, chronic headache, colds, neck pain, fibromyalgia, persistent lower back pain, sciatica, chronic pain, spine related conditions, women’s health issues, and nutrition problems. The goal of treatment is to restore wellness. We believe that a multi-disciplinary approach which involves cooperation between the patient’s primary care physician and specialists is important. You can also request an independent chiropractic exam at our facility.

The World Health Organization lists over 40 conditions that respond well to acupuncture treatment, including allergies, colds and flu, back pain, respiratory ailments and musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal and eye disorders.
What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is the insertion of various needles into points on the body. These points are located and join together in ‘channels’ or ‘meridians’, along which Qi or energy flows. The ancient Chinese physicians selected specific acupuncture points to disperse any blockages and to bring the patient’s Qi into balance. Patient’s enjoy other techniques such as Gua Sha and cupping.

Chiropractic (Greek: treatment by hand) began as a separate profession in the United States in the 1890’s. There are now over 55,000 chiropractors in the U.S. alone and the profession is established in approximately 65 countries.
